Northern Europe is a part of Europe, including countries of Scandinavian Peninsula (Norway, Sweden, Finland), as well as the adjacent Denmark and the island state of Iceland. Recently, the concept of “New Northern Europe” is becoming more popular, which includes “traditional” five Nordic countries, Baltic countries, Russia (especially its north-western regions), as well as Germany and Poland (areas adjacent to the Baltic Sea).

Norway. The country’s greatest treasure is its nature. Thousands of secluded bays and fjords encircle its coastline, low mountains, covered with forests and meadows, create a unique color. Thousands of clean lakes and rivers provide a unique opportunity to enjoy fishing and water sports. In the fjords of rock vertical wall soar to tens of meters up and the water is so quiet, that resembles polished surface of an emerald.
Sweden – a country of contrasts. Snow and sun, mountains and archipelagos, cool climate and warm-heartedness, millennia-old traditions and modern technology … fantastic skerries and beautiful shores, stretching for 2700 km among the undulating expanses, deep forests and thousands of lakes.
Finland is famous for its lakes, northern lights, magical Lapland Santa Claus, a clear starry sky and white snow.
Denmark is fjords and bays, dunes and cliffs, cool shady beech forests, beautiful lakes and large wooded plains. This is ancient manors, picturesque villages and towns, castles and monuments of past centuries. But the most important is that no city in the world would tell you so many stories, but Copenhagen, the city of sweeps, the Snow Queen and Princess on the Pea …
Iceland. Anywhere in the country you will feel the extraordinary energy emanating from the majestic mountains and the magnificent fjords, the energy of a dazzling sun in summer and northern lights in winter, attracting force of the cold beauty of glaciers and lava solidified into strange shapes at the bottom of deep canyons.
