Features of the mentality of the Spanish people
The main features of the Spanish people mentality – vitalism (the love of life in all its forms), individualism, humanism, intuitive-meditative mindset. The ratio of Spanish to reality formed the basis of the position of “I and the world”, the focus is always his own, with its rich scale of sensations, his family, friends, and only then – the country and the image of humanity as a whole. Spanish national character can be described this way: they are inherent seriousness, openness and chivalry, humanity, sense of humor and ability to work just fine in the team. The Spaniards are very sociable and spend a lot of time in public places (bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.) for them is the most comfortable environment for meeting friends, relatives or colleagues, making it possible to maximize the emotional expression. Do not expect punctuality from the Spaniards, their scale of values does not include the accuracy and commitment. The Spaniards cannot stand the limitations of personal freedom, even if it can bring weighty profit. In Spain, no one is in a hurry so there is no rush. If you try to recall the long-planned business, the Spaniards will quite traditional for them answer, “Magnan” (in Spanish manana), which in this context could mean “tomorrow”. The Spaniards are very temperamental, openly show their feelings and emotions through expressive gestures, loud voices, lively facial expressions.
